Stay Ahead: Your Guide to FAFSA Deadlines at NC Wesleyan
Filing your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) doesn鈥檛 have to be overwhelming! At NC Wesleyan University, we鈥檙e here to help you navigate the process so you can focus on planning your future with us.
1. Start Early
The 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available at聽聽 If you have not already done so, please submit your FAFSA as soon as possible to ensure you have access to all types of financial aid for which you qualify.聽 Remember to include NC Wesleyan鈥檚 school code (002951) so that we will receive your FAFSA.
2. Need to Make Changes?
If you made a mistake on your FAFSA, you will need to log back in at聽聽and follow the directions to correct your mistake.聽 Please submit your corrections as soon as possible so that you will receive an accurate financial aid award letter.
3. Understand Your Award Letter
Once our Financial Aid Office receives your FAFSA and your Admissions information, you will receive a Financial Aid Award letter which breaks down the types of financial aid for which you qualify.聽 The letter will also include your Financial Aid Advisor鈥檚 name, email address and phone number. Please reach out to your Financial Aid Advisor with any questions.
4. Eligibility Reconsideration

In some cases, with the right documentation, our team can review your situation to see if adjustments to your FAFSA can be made. NC Wesleyan Placing Students’ Finances First
ROCKY MOUNT, NORTH CAROLINA 鈥 麻豆原创 is proactively addressing to meet the needs of our students and families. The University has announced it is moving forward and investing in its students in the midst of the continued federal delays.
鈥淚t is our commitment to provide students with a transparent and affordable financial aid package shortly after they are accepted. To uphold this commitment, we have developed a plan to help bridge the gap鈥 stated President Duff.
The U.S. Department of Education announced, 鈥淭he Department will begin transmitting batches of FAFSA information鈥攌nown as the Institutional Student Information Record or ISIR鈥攖o these colleges in the first half of March.鈥
In an effort to be proactive, 麻豆原创 will be providing estimated financial aid and award packages starting in February. This initiative will streamline tuition and award packages, providing students assurance to financing their education, so they can make informed decisions. If students qualify for additional aid once the , NCWU will adjust those student鈥檚 packages accordingly.

Information for students that have already been accepted and deposited
If you have already committed to attending NC Wesleyan, complete our to apply. You鈥檒l need your NCWU Student ID to complete the form. An email will be sent from the Office of Financial Aid within 48 hours of receipt of your completed form. An estimated award letter will be emailed starting mid-February.
