Event Details

Join us on Thursday, April 9, 2026 as our NCWU students will be presenting their semester research projects at the 21st Annual Student Symposium in the Dunn Center. ALL members of the community are invited to the event!

This is a floating event, so students, faculty and staff can come at any time during the event to learn about the research projects that students have been working on this semester.

There will be a keynote address at 3:10 p.m. in Powers Recital Hall by guest speaker Dr. Jiarui Li, Chief Executive Officer of Innatrix, Inc.  The title of his presentation is,”My Journey from a Small Village Farm to the Ag-Tech Industry.”

Briefly in the morning and then again in the late afternoon, different types of student presentations will take place:

10:30-11:00 a.m. in the Carlton Boardroom:  Sociology oral presentation

4:05 – 5:05 p.m. in the Mims Gallery:  In a poster session, students will share their research.ÌýThis includes topics from Biology,  Environmental Science, and Exercise Science. Posters go up around 3:00 pm, and students will be standing by their posters shortly after 4:00 pm to explain their posters and answer questions.

We look forward to seeing you in attendance tomorrow; the students presenters always appreciate the support! â¶Ä‚â¶Ä‚â¶Ä‚
